Regarding the title of this post, I ask that because every time I think of the phrase "complacency bad," I hear it in Boris Karloff's voice as the Frankenstein Monster.
"Complacency BAD! Drink GOOD!" And then the blind hermit plays his fiddle.
You know that they knew their lives would be intrusively examined before and after Apollo, but don't you bet there were plenty of times when the "space families" wished they could just let out with a burp or a cuss word, unwatched?
